Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Luzhou Jinzhijiang Technology Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or the “Service Provider”) processes information when you use the mobile application published as Blade & Timber on the App Store and 飞刀问木 on Google Play, previously named “Knife Throw Master” (the “Application”).
Information We Collect
The Application does not require you to create an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, precise location, payment information, contacts, photos, or files. The Application does offer leaderboard and achievement features, which rely on an account already signed in on your device — Google Play Games on Android, Apple Game Center on iOS. Both are described below, and neither is required to play.
Analytics and crash diagnostics
The Application uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. These services automatically collect limited technical, usage, identifier, and diagnostic information, which may include:
- App activity and interactions: app launches, session duration, screens or features used, interaction events, and actions immediately before a crash.
- App and device information: app version, package identifier, installation source, device model, manufacturer, operating system and version, language, country or region, screen orientation, CPU architecture, and available memory or storage.
- Identifiers: Firebase installation identifiers, Analytics app-instance identifiers, Crashlytics installation UUIDs, session identifiers, and similar identifiers used to distinguish an app installation. The Application does not set a Firebase user ID or attach account information to these identifiers.
- Approximate location and network information: coarse country or region may be derived from an IP address. We do not request or collect precise GPS location.
- Diagnostics: crash and error reports, stack traces, exception messages, timestamps, relevant application state, thread and process state, and related device metadata needed to diagnose stability problems.
Firebase may also collect SDK names and versions and other service data required to provide, secure, maintain, and improve Firebase services.
Advertising
The Application uses Google AdMob to show rewarded video advertisements. In connection with serving and measuring ads, Google may collect:
- Advertising identifiers: on Android, the Google Advertising ID (AAID); on iOS, the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) where it is available. See “Personalized advertising and your choices” below for how this differs by platform.
- Ad interaction data: ad requests, impressions, ad completion, clicks, and reward events.
- Device and network information: device model, operating system, language, IP address and the coarse country or region derived from it, and general connectivity information.
Google also reports estimated per-impression ad revenue back to us. We record that value in our analytics so we can understand overall revenue; it is not linked to any account or to your identity.
Google Play Games Services (Android only)
On Android, the Application offers optional leaderboard and achievement features provided by Google Play Games Services. These are off unless you use them: the Application never starts a Play Games sign-in on launch. Sign-in happens only if you open Settings and tap Leaderboard or Achievements. If you never tap them, no game data leaves your device through this feature.
If you do use these features, the Application sends to Google:
- Your score at the end of a round, submitted to the “High Score” leaderboard; and
- Which achievements you have unlocked, when you meet their conditions.
Google associates this with your Google Play Games player profile. Because this is stored in your Google account rather than on your device, it is not deleted when you uninstall the Application. The Application does not read, store, or transmit your name, email address, or Play Games player ID; it only asks Google whether a session is signed in.
Whether your entry is visible to other players on the leaderboard is controlled by your own Google account setting, not by us — see Play Games → Privacy & settings. We cannot read or change that setting. You can review and delete Play Games data for this game from the Play Games app; deletion is handled by Google.
Apple Game Center (iOS only)
On iOS, the Application offers leaderboard and achievement features provided by Apple Game Center. The behaviour differs from Android: shortly after the main menu appears, the Application asks iOS to authenticate you with Game Center. This is required by Apple’s framework — until authentication has happened once, no score or achievement can be recorded at all.
If you are already signed in to Game Center on your device, this is silent and you will see nothing. If you are not, iOS presents Apple’s own Game Center sign-in sheet, which you may dismiss. Declining changes nothing else: the game remains fully playable, and nothing is sent.
If Game Center is active, the Application sends to Apple:
- Your score at the end of a round, submitted to the “High Score” leaderboard; and
- Which achievements you have unlocked, when you meet their conditions.
Apple associates this with your Game Center player profile. Because it is stored in your Apple Account rather than on your device, it is not deleted when you uninstall the Application. The Application does not read, store, or transmit your name, email address, Apple Account, or Game Center player ID.
Whether your entry is visible to other players is controlled by your own Apple Account settings — see Settings → Game Center — not by us. You can turn Game Center off there entirely, in which case the Application records nothing through this feature.
Data stored only on your device
Your game progress — best score, recent scores, coin balance, unlocked and equipped skins, chosen background, language, sound and music settings, review-prompt counters, and the daily limit for watch-an-ad-for-coins — is stored locally on your device using standard app preference storage. This data is not transmitted to us, and it is removed when you uninstall the Application. Two exceptions: the Play Games and Game Center features described above; and Android’s own backup feature, which may copy app preferences to your Google Drive and restore them when you reinstall — that backup is operated by Google and your device settings, not by us.
How We Use Information
We use this information to:
- measure how the Application is used and understand feature engagement;
- detect, diagnose, and fix crashes, errors, and performance or compatibility problems;
- serve and measure advertisements, including reporting on ad performance and estimated revenue;
- record leaderboard scores and achievement progress, if you choose to use Google Play Games features;
- maintain, secure, and improve the Application and related services; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect users, the Service Provider, and the public where required.
We do not send marketing communications, and we do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Personalized advertising and your choices
Advertisements in the Application are opt-in: they are rewarded videos that play only after you choose to watch one, for example to revive after a run ends or to receive coins. The Application does not show forced interstitial, banner, or app-open advertisements.
- European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland: we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present a consent form before ads are requested. Your choice determines whether advertising is personalized. You can change your choice at any time from your device’s Google settings, and where a privacy options form is offered by UMP it may also be presented again by the Application.
- Android: advertising may be personalized where permitted and where you have not opted out. You can reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalization in Settings → Google → Ads.
- iOS: the Application does not currently present the App Tracking Transparency prompt and therefore does not access the IDFA. Ads shown on iOS are non-personalized or contextual. You can further limit ad tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Non-personalized ads still use coarse, non-identifying signals such as approximate location derived from IP address and the content context, and they still require limited processing for frequency capping, fraud prevention, reporting, and billing.
Third-Party Service Providers
Google LLC processes the information described above on our behalf through Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google AdMob, and — on Android — Google Play Games Services. On iOS, Apple Inc. processes your leaderboard scores and unlocked achievements through Game Center under Apple’s own privacy policy. Google may use subprocessors to provide these services. For advertising, Google and its advertising partners may act as independent controllers of some data under their own policies.
- Privacy and Security in Firebase
- Google Privacy Policy

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to respond to lawful government requests, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or to protect rights and safety.
International Data Transfers
Google may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required by applicable law, Google and the Service Provider use recognized transfer safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Data Security
Firebase encrypts the end-user data described in its Google Play disclosure documentation while it is transmitted using HTTPS. We and our service providers use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, subject to product settings and legal requirements. Firebase states that Crashlytics generally retains crash stack traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems. Analytics retention follows the retention settings configured for our Firebase/Google Analytics property. Advertising data is retained by Google according to its own published retention practices. Aggregated or de-identified statistics may be retained longer when they no longer identify an individual or device.
You may request access to or deletion of personal information controlled by the Service Provider by emailing dev@jzj.red. We will verify and process requests as required by applicable law. Some information may not be directly retrievable by us without a relevant app-installation or advertising identifier, and legal or security obligations may require limited retention.
Your Choices
You can stop future collection by uninstalling the Application. Uninstalling does not automatically delete information already transmitted. You may also:
- reset or delete your advertising identifier, or turn off ad personalization, in your device settings;
- change or withdraw your advertising consent where the UMP consent form applies to you;
- simply not open Leaderboard or Achievements — on Android, no score or achievement is sent to Google Play Games unless you do;
- review or delete Play Games data for this game from the Play Games app, and control whether your leaderboard entry is visible to others from Play Games → Privacy & settings;
- simply not tap the rewarded-ad buttons — no advertisement is shown unless you choose to watch one;
- contact us at dev@jzj.red to exercise applicable rights, including access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, or withdrawal of consent.
California Privacy Rights
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information and to receive equal service when exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information for money.
Where personalized advertising is enabled, the use of advertising identifiers for advertising purposes may be treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or as a “sale”, under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws. You can opt out of this at any time by turning off ad personalization or resetting your advertising identifier in your device settings, or, where the UMP consent form applies to you, by declining or withdrawing consent. Requests may also be sent to dev@jzj.red.
Children’s Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in a user’s jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Application, contact us at dev@jzj.red so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Application, our service providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date. Previous versions are available upon request.
